Lewa is impressive and really deserved it last year (no idea why they even cancelled it) but Messi finally winning a trophy with Argentina caps off his legacy. the history books won't care about his performance.

Messi was as shite as you'd ever see him but he finally has his international trophy and I'm extremely happy for him. Given all the shit he's had to carry over the years for them its about time other players stepped up when he wasn't at it. De Paul was incredible and di maria too.
This victory was no Maradona story but history will show that Messi led Argentina to their first trophy in 28 years to a Brazil playing at home who never lost a Copa final certainly does no harm to solidify his goat credentials and Balon Dor 7
