Lionel Messi - v7

It makes sense. Ronaldo,Neymar,Messi were the three superstars of the last few years and two of them left already, la liga fans dont want to see Messi also leaves .

Barcelona and Real Madrid have lost big players before and been fine. La Liga always loses big players and continues to bring in the big TV deals.... it won't be any different when Messi leaves.

It just sounds funny that La Liga and Barcelona are potentially panicking that we might lose a 34-year-old.

Messi is the last big player remaining in Spain that neutral fans might consider watching thus broadcasters willing to pay more if he's still here.

Sure Real Madrid and Barca have lost big players before, but when was the last time the interest in La Liga was this low and we had so few superstars in the league?

You need superstars to get that extra moolah unless you're the EPL.

No one's gonna tune in to watch Eden Hazard and Antoine Griezmann underwhelm for their respective teams.

I'm not going to panic or be upset if Messi leaves for good. He's given us 17 great years. He's brought in a lot of success and money to the club. Messi is not bigger than the club to me, but it seems he's bigger than the club to a lot of other people. It seems Laporta sees it that way, too. I get that he's still one of the best in the world and you don't want to lose him that easily, but people makes it seem that La Liga and Barcelona will go under if he leaves. It seems kinda pathetic and desperate to me.

If Messi stays, that's great. If he leaves, I'll wish him all the best and hope he finds success in another club. He's earned it.

It would be a nice ending if Messi ends the career at barca but if he wants to leave then its also fine, no player is bigger than the club.

Come September, we'll either be handing Rassvet a BBZ on Arthur size W or a Barca OG on Messi never winning with Argentina size L.

Can't wait.

Didnt you also pray for a Messi departure? So i can give you both a BBZ on Arthur size W or L in september :mou:

You need reading comprehension classes if you think I've been CAMPAIGNING for Messi to leave like Rassvet. I'm fine with either decision. Maybe lean more towards Messi leaving but that's about it dawg.
