Lionel Messi - v7

EV must have a video of him fucking every Amigo’s wife, there’s no other way every one of them is so loyal to him, even after his firing.

Anyway,I think this move by Leo was really wrong.Publicly and openly criticizing your sporting director(who even used to be your teammate) is a wrong move.

Especially when it has to do with that coward EV,who is responsible for back-to-back UCL humiliations.Again,it is baffling to see the players defend him to death, even now.

It really puts the club’s demise into perspective.

Incompetent board.

Inexperienced and coward coaches.

Old and self-entitled players.

I will always respect and admire Leo for the player he has been, but he has been really underwhelming as a leader.

100 percent. Im backing neither party because they both are clearly in the fault.

It's just the timing of Messi speaking out publicly that's pissing me off. Him backing Valverde after that Anfield fiasco seemed like a monthly occurence. And yet when Abidal indirectly decides to call out the club de amigos , suddenly him being a "nice" guy and a proffesional go out the window.

Someones needs to go full scorched earth on this circus of a club
Board needs to go but also we probably won't go anywhere until these certain group of Vet players is phased out as well. Just to much power and politics that run the lockerroom.

After reading Abidal's interview, it seems like it is thanks to him that we actually sacked Valverde because he sensed things weren't right as an ex-player. Now he is getting chopped for it by Messi. I don't think he was that bad of a sporting director either.

this has to be the stupidest shit I have ever seen in my life...

Why can't our directors just say "We felt the need to change the manager to get more out of the team" and fucking leave it at that.

why go into specifics like players, training, matches etc...

Christ!

Nah man,we don’t really know if what Abi claimed is indeed a lie.Maybe some players actually didn’t like EV’s methods.

Even if he said something vague like what you said,Messi and the rest of the Amigos could have come out and said that “no,EV was the perfect coach for the team”,like they’ve more or less done many times in the past.

I’m leaning on Abi’s side on this, even though he is a part of the board.

This is a shitshow

If I get Abidal comments right, then Messi isn't even defending EV.
Abidal says that he fired EV because of the players who didn't like him, doesn't it mean that players were aligned against our coach? In order to get him fired?
If this is the case, then Abidal is a coward and idiot. You fired the coach -whom you never supported since you were hired- and put the blame on the players without even mentioning them.
Say something PC like it was time to change, or this is how foitball work etc
PS: can someone bring Abidal interview in English

Abidal shouldn't have publicly said that the training sessions weren't intense and that some players had dropped their level.

That being said, Messi is way off the mark in expecting Abidal to give names. It would just be even more of a shit show. Win as a team and lose as a team.

"Our department has to have their homework done because you never know what can happen," said Abidal. "We started working on the coach during my first summer. We looked for information and after, the president decided to renew him. We took it on because it was a club decision, but we already saw the problem wasn't to do with results but that it was an internal thing. It's never easy to take that decision but after the Clasico on December 18, we started to concrete his exit."

Abidal made it clear that Valverde, even winning the Super Cup, would still have left.

"We watched the games and not the results, but how we played, the tactics, the work of the players who don't play a lot. I'm focused on those details. Many players weren't satisfied or working a lot and there was also an internal communication problem. The relationship between the coach and the dressing room has always been good but there are things as an ex-player that I could smell. I told the club what I thought and we reached a decision.'

Getting the vibe that Messi is mad they sacked valverde

He should have called abidal instead of making the post

Messi is mad about firing EV...Messi is mad about not signing Neymar...Messi is (probably) mad at the thought of Suarez being benched...

This is getting more and more irrational of him

I get you, but no other club comes out and explain why they sacked a manager in great details. It's usually a very general statement.

I think the specifics as to why a manager got sacked should be kept internal to the club.

We all know Rafa Benitez and Lopetegui got sacked from getting hammered in the Clasico...but nobody form Real Madrid came out and said "He's getting sacked for the Clasico result"

There's just no need for it imo.

Abidal needs to be netural, general in his statement and take responsibility for it as a Sporting decision from management.
