Joking apart, his shooting was good all these past games but he was unlucky. Captain obvious, I know, but it seems some people miss these things easily, so I thought I'd point it out.

Currently has 626 goals for barca. Needs 18 more goals to break pele's record for most goals for a single club. Hope he goes on a massive scoring run and breaks it this season

Makes me happy he still easily can score four while not really trying. Maybe Papa Messi can show us something special in the KO phase this year and pulls off a Ronaldo like spring

Strangest messi performance I've ever seen. Average only because of a few good passes but still scores four and most of them top goals.

He has to score great goals now to score which is why his numbers drop. Eubar at home is the kind of game where he still looks like scoring. Away from home he's easily shut down. Hopefully he can produce next 2 games.

Setien has made Barca watchable again after the dreadful Valverde

Messi hasn't failed to score in the last few games because he was "easily shut down". He had plenty of chances where his finishing was off.

He could play like a God. Griezmann could play like a Prince. Ansu could play like he's *it*, but that defence of ours will probably let them down. Just not good enough unless we're lucky.
