Lionel Messi - v7

Barto apparently can't resign because he and the board would be responsible for the Financial issues.

Of course that fucker will hold on for dear life until his "Term" expires. Dude doesn't want to be responsible for anything.

No I wont. It is a matter of principle.

I understand you're hurt, because you are a huge fan of Messi. But in a few years you will come around and realize that Messi behaved unworthy of his stature in the club.
Or maybe, considering our financial situation, as well as squad quality, Messi sees we will get nowhere in next 2-3 years (if then) and wants out? Nah...must be him wanting to play with Suarez for 3-4 more years, he obviously doesnt get some of his amigos are part of the problem. You have to have account on barca forum to know that.

Even though he isnt going to leave right now, i can see him retiring within 2 seasons.
Cant wait for this era to be over, Barca having a literal cheat code in every league game for over 10 years needs to end.

The lieague will be much harder if hee leaves. He literally scores oder assists in every match. Best league player in the history of football.

If you think this will make Barto resign you're clueless. socis won't do anything regarding this either, don't forget the media power controlled by Barto and co. This will be heartbreaking but unfortunately the time has come :(

Not true and you can look it up and see differences between his responses when we lost to LFC and Munich. He could have said that it is not his business to comment on such matters. Messi has his fair share of flaws, but this is not the time to discuss them.

Messi has spoke up about Barca not being good enough good enough this season. Speaks up when suits him.

Barca need to move on if he can?t handle the changes needed.

Bartomeu and his gang of crooks are shite.

But it is clear that Koeman has been positioning himself to move out some of the older players and reinstate some authority into the dressing room.

I cannot help but be suspicious Leo was willing to put up with over half a decade of Bartomeu, stay quite all that time, only to come out and demand to leave with only 6 months remaining on his term the day after Suarez was told to pack his bags.

He might have thought the cockroach would leave ASAP, but he obviously decided to stay until March, not to lead the club towards a rebuild as everyone so foolishly believes, but to do whatever it takes to hide the shit he's been doing all these years.

Bartomeu and his board made a lot of wrong decisions, but finally trying to clean the club from the likes of Suarez and limiting the power of the players isn't one of them. Interestingly Messi suddenly realizes the lack of "sporting projec" now! So what is this "sporting project" Messi wants? Suarez and the amigos staying and hiring Valverde as manager again? No player should have as much power at a club as Messi had, no matter how good he is. The players having so much power, together with the incompetence of the board is what has lead to the situation the club is in now.

It?s now either Messi who leaves the club, or Bartomeu who leaves and calls for an immediate resignation.

cant help but think maybe Koeman went abit bull in a china shop.. it was a delicate situation after the 8-2 and if those reports are true im not surprised if that forced Messi's hand

Bartomeu really ran this club into ground. Pjanic transfer saga was definitely point at which I realized this crooks are absolutely appaling at running the club.

And all the idiots saying the club cannot make any signings without a board, have you forgotten Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal?

If the plan is to give Koeman the power to make the decisions they could have hired him, told him and Planes to do their thing, requested the temporary board to help them out, and resigned.
