Just got to thinking how much of a monster he was in terms of durability from 08 onwards.

So many horrendous tackles to the ankles and knees because his gameplay was centered around being on the ball/dribbling and not 1 meniscus/ligament/tendon tear.

Elite specimen.

It is incredible feat of strength, both physically and mentally. All footballers with dribbling/on ball style will decline at around 30 years old. Too much stress on their body/mind.

Messi is the only one who continues with his style and still dominates the world until he leaves Europe (35 years old).

Perharps. Though Messi and Mbappe had really good relationship. It shows on the pitch. Mbappe said before he missed playing with Messi. He never said anything about Neymar.
