He played well for his age and had a great WC campaign as 35 year old. Took good pens this time.

But the clowns trying to present it as total domination when most of his goals were pens due to decisions which were soft and highly debatable is laughable.

Talk about desperately trying to create narratives.

3 open play goals and 2 were up there with the greatest world cup goals. And then 2 of the greatest ever assists that were as good as goals

Just going to toss this out there. Forum is much more enjoyable without this Temptation idiot.

Bro… go get a life…. You are a massive loser.

Never did that. Infact praised Messi for improving his penalties and not crumbling this time.

It's not a negative that Messi scored so many pens. He was supposed to score the pens he got and he delivered. The only negative is his fanboys trying to oversell his performance as a whole and paint it as something way more epic than it actually is. They probably wanted more bangers or an iconic solo dribble goal. The Mexico goal was fantastic mind you.

The fact is most of his goals were pens and that makes his statistic in the tournament look impressive. Again no one is using him scoring them as a negative. Converting pens in itself is always a positive.

Rather the lack of open play goals compared to how his fanboys are rating his performance throughout.

He also had two massive contributions through open play with assists though. The Netherlands through ball and Croatia dribble were both majestic.

Romano reporting Messi accepted PSG's offer for contract extension

Good that he is not coming back to Barca that would totally halt the rebuild that has started and would castrate every other player that wants to take leadership

Feeling so sorry for his fanboys that will have to cheer for Qatar SG for another 2 years

I wanted him to go to the US.
BUT,yes I'm glad he's not coming back. We need to rebuild without him.

70.5m as of right now... Just shows how everyone is happy for him, I'm a bit surprised by how much love he received online.

It's a real life fairy tale. All that was missing was for Messi to have been really poor as a kid or an orphan. But I guess the growth hormone deficiency will do just fine.

The little boy from Rosario Argentina...

Messi FC is unbothered. In fact, they don't mind as they know it's most likely his chance at a 5th UCL plus all the statpadding

Birdy has a history of supporting Pool, City, Bayern etc. Or at least being very, very sympathetic to their success and football.
