Culers like to make fun of how Real Madrid have treated their club legends in the past, but a significant part of our fanbase, especially local fans, are not any better.
Might be a cultural issue at this point.
No one is saying you should support PSG lol, or even support him thus indirectly support PSG I guess, but the narrative and storylines being created against him is sad to see.
Will always be grateful for the GOAT unlike some of these losers in the group I'm talking about.

We have been a Europa league team for years carried by Messi.
It actually started when Pep left, Messidependencia became a thing.
Turned it back with MSN and ever since Neymar left we fastly declined year by year.
Thats why we always gkt exposed agaibst better cl sides.
Now we dont have Messi to bail us out against easier teams.
At least maybe the blinders go off now and we can get on that recovery trajectory quicker.

Agree 100%. Football luminaries ike Birdy or Serghey would tell us how his lack of workrate amde us lose 3-0 against mighty Benfica. I wonder, is he still to blame for this loss too? C'mon Birdy and Serghey, enlighten us, football Gods.

No way, ballon dor will be decided between Messi and Lewa, if Messi doesnt play crap next two months then he is favourite to win it but will be a close run between both.

Performances at the start of a season could have minimal impact. Messi won a major international trophy while being the best player overall. His performances with Barca were also great in the year and this season's Barca results even highlight the length of his achievement. Performing like this in a destroyed, Europa league club.
