Messi provided a number of through balls last night, yet mbappe wasn't lucky enough. I think he already figured out how mbappe works. With neymar perhaps just this match, in other matches bar a few last games where ney seems off (also in this match), they already connected, which is understandable looking their history.
Yet it's a fact that mbappe does a lot of run, more than ney, so it's natural that messi's 3rd eye found him more than ney lately.

He's always liked players who are great at running in behind the defence with pace or clever movement. I mean he made Tello look good at times. Neymar in 14/15, Villa briefly, Ansu briefly.

Players who can basically get behind the last man so he can ping his through balls. If PSG can make their team work properly and have Messi get on the ball more in better positions he'll give Mbappe a lot of great chances.

Even if that is the case....Poch is the one making the stupid decision playing Di Maria at the LW where he's 50% of the player he can be and Messi stuck and isolated at the RW where he's less effective as he's less on the ball and just isn't a winger anymore.

Neymar is still at his best starting from the LW because centrally he just goes backwards and ball hogs way too much.

Pochettino has to figure out how to use his attacking superstars. It seems that using all four together is not working - zero goals again. Sampaoli knows how to stifle Messi, OM defense did not give him space.
I think his Mbapp? connection is starting to work. Messi should probably play as advanced midfielder for maximal impact. Mbapp? and ADM should play in front and run. Don't know about best position for Neymar. It may be best to rotate - never let all 4 play together.

not sure about that, people will say that he flopped in a farmer league, imagine in biggest leagues where ronaldo scored for fun, dude scored 30 last year in Liga and now he'll struggle to even hit 15 at this rate, this is not looking good dawg, he'll become a meme.

by the way I don't think in premier at city he would have all those problems to even find a way to shot on target. problem here isn't even the ligue, is the fact that Messi went to a team that looks perfect to expose all his current weaknesses.
