Liverpool won the 2nd leg 4-0, which would've tied it. Does anyone believe that team of bottle jobs was gonna survive extra time on Anfield? In the unlikely case that Liverpool wouldn't have made it 5 before ET.

i think messi had to go, but not in the way he did.

but i will say that laporta is a snake for being a politician before being a president. one of our problems as an institution is that our presidents are too political: they do stupid shit that they think will help them win elections etc before considering whether its good in the long term

Ofcourse Messi should have left. He would get mauled and blamed for our current state. But he should have left last season, like he wanted to, and we could probably make money too.
