At Barca, he won CLs only when the team was BY FAR the best team in the world.
He never managed to drag a team when the team was = let's say among top3 or top5 best teams.

I think that Messi in a CL KO matches will be a good old, semi-invisible/walking/easy to neutralize Messi whch we are seeing for years at Barca's shirt on away KO matches.

Almost any serious team can block Messi, but this happens at the expense of giving more space to other players. And if those players are killers as well, it's bye-bye mostly. This is how CLs are won. Back in the day, if you focused on Messi too much, Pedro, Henry, Villa, Iniesta, Alves would kill you.

Long before Messi was even linked to PSG, you can search through my post history here. I have complained about our LB and RB and our midfield. We fixed the RB with Hakimi, so i don't talk about it anymore. Still LB and midfield to fix.

Also, it is not like i just became a member of this forum just when PSG had picked Neymar or Messi. Was still here when PSG took Ls on de Jong and de Ligt transfers too.

Not sure about that. PSG turned into a galactico team and we already know it doesn?t work. Add to that Messi and Neymar who don?t track back and Messi is past his prime. I won?t bet on it but I have doubts about PSG dominating the CL.

Dominating the CL is never a given due to the format alone and they're lack of comp throughout the regular season


Even Mbap doesn't track back all that much. That's why a Camavinga signing would be righteous! He'd be like ball recuperating machine and procure the needed balance.

I agree that sometimes messi walked too much like against roma but its difficult/impossible to lead a team on his own to a cl title. You always need a good team to support you.
