and same people called other guys trolls when they criticised Messi for a bad ligue 1 match, argument was 'He doesnt care about ligue1' so if you aren't allowed to criticise him for a bad match you aren't allowed him to praise for a good match, double standards my dude

People here not understanding minimum expectations. Just because we criticized Messi for being dreadful in Ligue 1 doesn't mean it's a great achievement when he starts playing ok again.

It's like how nobody would give Valverde credit for beating teams like Eibar at home but you all would certainly have castigated him if he couldn't win those easier games.

After months of claiming that Messi was saving himself for the CL, they're actually out here getting hysterical about him playing decently against relegation fodder after dropping a disasterclass against Madrid.

He wasn't really a disaster against Madrid, still created chances in that game for Mbappe. The main flaw I've seen from him in a long time now is his tendency to stroll and not be more active (Like how you see Di Maria being active and always pressing) but the talent is still there.
