Many of the more intellectual folk on here like BBZ, Birdy, Jammy, and Serghei were critical of Messi towards the end of his time at Barca and thought it was best for him to leave but they aren’t as active in this thread anymore.

I disagreed with them back then but it took me a few months into this season to see that their more objective analysis was actually spot on for the most part.

BarcaOG was a Messi fan until 2018 or so but changed his stance following some of Messi and Barca’s CL struggles I think.

10 goal contributions in the last 10 games isn't really nothing (3G+7A). In the mean time, it's not an enjoyable time at all the last 10 matches for the guy in manchester.
Im not entirely happy though.. The best times were when those two were competing killing each other back then 5 to 10 years ago. Now, we have to admit it's reaching kylian vs haaland era.

Anyway, last night was his 3rd 8+ score performances so far in my record. Two of them were against the same team (st. Ettienne) and 1st rennes game. His clips from lille game, nantes game also seems good but i didn't watch them.. so yeah.

Tbf Neymar has basically given up being a footballer at this point
