Very true. Other clubs never retired their number even though legendary players played in them. Just onto the next. Really number doesn?t even matter in the grand scheme of things.

The whole shirt number retirement is nonsense to me. People will remember the player and what number he carried. If the club wants to honor the player just build a statue or something. Retiring numbers just gonna make a mess of whatever numbers are left for players to wear.
