Iago Aspas is a very good player and now Liverpool is ready to buy Luis Alberto! He is by far my favorite Barca B player and I think he has a great career ahead of him (if ,of course Suarez is sold, because otherwise he will rot on the bench). I maybe be one of the few people that want him to stay to our club.

Oli Kay of The Times says he reckons it'll be 10 players out and about eight in.

My prediction of the ten out would be:- Carra, Wilson, Spearing, Pacheco, Carroll, Coates, Skrtel, Flanagan, Shelvey and Suarez.

8 well 4 of them will probably Toure, Aspas, Canos and Luis Alberto. So that leaves 4. I hope these will be 1 centre back, 1 defender which can cover two positions at the back, an attacking midfielder and a replacement for Suarez.

Aspas is a beast, I really wanted Arsenal to pick him up when their attack was underperforming, he's a really good pick-up.

The future looks bleak for Liverpool with these kind of transfers. If Suarez leaves, it will take a miracle for you to get in Europa League. Has Liverpool financial problems or is it just lack of ambition from the board? It is sad to see such a historic club become irrelevant.

Well our budget before player sales is around £25m. Seems like we have made bids for Papadopoulos and Alderweireld. Obviously with the outs then that £25m will rise to something like £90m with Suarez going for £40m and Carroll for £15m making the bulk of that.

I'd say we'll spend half of that with the other half going towards the Stadium redevelopment. But I am guessing.

Canos and Luis Alberto would investment signings and not squad signings.

I like and rate both Aspas and Alberto, but I am pretty confident to say that they are not the players that will lead Liverpool to a Premier League title, not even a Champions League place.. I personally consider their whole transfer strategy flawed. They already have some good/decent players in almost every position and they choose to spend their humble transfer budget in slightly better players than these that they already have. What they really need to do in my opinion is to finally decide which players they really do believe in and then try to spend their whole budget to two or players that will raise the teams level.
