I believe it is because, to win a league, you have to be consistent (most of the time; looking at you City 13/14). And as such, it is the trophy that requires the least amount of luck of the 3 competitions.

If there was a European Super League including all the best clubs in Europe, then I would accept your argument hands down. But La Liga does not include that (nor does any other league) and for this reason the CL is the most worthy trophy in club football by far.

Messi will conserve his energy on the field, Suarez will get a yellow and miss Cordoba, Neymar will be subbed off in the second half for Pedro.

He'll be subbed in once we have a good lead, pretty much the same system Lucho has used so far, and it's good !

It's better to maintain a lead than chase a bad score subbing in Neymar/Suarez with the obligation to score goals quickly.

They shouldnt get burnt out, if Barca go ahead by a couple they will virtually stop pressing and stay up park.

Depending on the draws, a cl run can be weaker than the liga teams. There's also less corruption/bias, as rfef is not in charge, but uefa. CL is surely the trophy that generates most attention, but I still prefer la liga. I'm in the minority, though.
