Are you f..ing serious? I was sad for a month after that game we drew on Camp Nou. La Liga is the season. You wouldn't even be in CL if not for La Liga. And in the past, only La Liga winners would get the chance to represent Spain in the European Cup.

This is what i am saying though, La Liga is a step behind in terms of prestige and worldwide recognition.

I don't dispute the fact that CL is more popular than La Liga. Of course it is. But for spanish clubs, La Liga should be the no1 priority each year.

You must have suffered waiting for that Decima no ? so many years of disappointment.

CL is the mega super bonus, and everyone gives it his all, but you can't expect to win it on a regular basis.

Lets just say while i was indeed very happy for our la liga victories over the years we waited for decima, winning the champions league just cant be topped imo. Of course, the more trophies the better, winning the league and the cl-trophy is even better. But if i had to choose between those two, i would have to pick CL.

It is, no club has ever made the CL a priority. But if they could choose between winning the league and winning the CL, i'm pretty confident every team would choose the CL.

Come on now, CL is the most prestigious there is. ATM won La Liga last year, yet no shits were given, absolutely none.

One cannot truly be champion of Europe, if one is not champion in one's own backyard. The victory would feel hollow.

Losing the title to ATM hurt. Especially because we would have won had the ref not messed up.
