I really wanted Masch at dm. If Rakitic doesn't step up, we'll have a lot of problems. And if Mathieu is not injured, I don't understand why he isn't there. Or why Bartra isn't starting either. Height is needed.

Atletico have a big advantage in the midfield. Koke, Arda, Gabi and Tiago have so much more workrate, defensive capability, mobility and perhaps even offensive projection than Iniesta, Raki and Busquets. It's going to take some great performance by those 3 to equalize the scales, Rakitic most of all. Iniesta also needs a vintage Iniesta performance to put some pressure on his counterparts.

Shit this is actually probably the best lineup they could play. Dunno about Gàmez at LB but if he's comfortable there he's much better than Siqueira or Ansaldi. It's not really gonna be Griezmann vs Alves since he doesn't play on the wing, more like Griezmann vs Masch. Set pieces are gonna be god awful with Pique (lel) being our most competent header.
