I do find Barca are becoming a bit of a parody of themselves. They were one of the best football teams of all time with our dominant possession football, but now we seem to more and more force that aspect of the game at the cost of attacking threat.

I honestly think each season since 2011 we have become worse and worse.

I can't see us challenging in the Champions League this season. I hope to be wrong, but I think we appear very limited. despite the decent start until today.

The biggest problem for me is the fact that when they pressed us high (in our half mind you), few years ago we would rack them passes up and just put few past them. This year...Man we are slow on buildup. Practically everyone that gets the ball and is not Messi touches it at least 3 times and passes to closest team mate, or kicks it on flanks. We are very well know accross Liga so I except alot of games like this if something doesn't change.

Pressing us at the back used to be suicide for other teams because they would tire themselves out and leave space which we exploited. Today they pressed us and we kept clearing and hoofing the ball upfield instead of playing from the back.

Im not gonna go mad at this. It was the 5th game of the league. We were gonna stumble sooner or later. Not a big deal. We just have to bounce back from this and fix those little problems keeping us behind and come back stronger in the next games.

Yes, but it's not something which can't be improved and fixed. It's early in the season. Sometimes I think we've already lost the league or are on verge of a relegation going by some posts here.

It quickly goes from criticism to bashing and then all doom and gloom.

Very bad match. But at least we did not lose 4-2 to a mid table team and 3-2 to some Greek team. Cheer up people, we are still leading liga unbeaten and without a single goal conceding. Sure this match was horrible but it is not time to panic yet. See how Real have turned their tides and i think we can do that too.

I agree. We're not. But we should also remember that we had these exact same conversations last season, and we all know how that ended. The game was dangerously similar to the 0-0 draw in Pamplona from last year. Oh boy, this is going to be a loooong season...

True, although we can and should hope we learn from this and bounce back strongly and that it doesn't end up like last season where we made the same mistakes the entire year.

I think the team has looked promising this season and done better than last season and I hope this was just a one bad performance which we would have had anytime anyway and that we get back up asap.
