I knew Atletico weren't going to keep up with that insane, high octane pressing - 20 odd first in the first half and then we began to manage them. They were putting so much effort into winning the ball up high, their decision making on the ball was rushed and poor a lot of the time.

Cagey game still, Marc in beast mode as usual, Messi showing why he's the best in the world by quite some distance.

They were all over us in the first 20 minutes and we were a bit lucky to not concede. For the rest of the first half we balanced out the game and in the second half we were far the better team.

Deserved and crucial victory!

I thought we played like crap to be honest. We played like a 3 times more expensive Atletico clone with a great keeper and Messi on a good night.

On another night, Oblak wins the duel with Stegen and Messi is better blocked and it's 1-0 Atletico.
