Having no subs was fatal this time. Roberto should've started as he adds more width to our play.

Was sad to see that it was more of a WWE match than football.

How did I forget about that.

only 2 min.Even masch couldn't believe it.Let's see if the rfef says they made a mistake this time.
Nobody will say anything, even barca players/board usually stay quiet about it.
At best we can hope for asarcastic Pique tweet when he gives Real 5 minutes in a few months to help them win a match.

No they didnt expose us. They played like thugs, and werent punished for that. You cant play good when someone is kicking your legs everytime you recieve ball and ref doesnt punish them. This is not wrestling, and thats what we were watching today.

No.If strength was that much of a factor teams would be training in the gym and not with the ball.Had we retained the ball cleanly when they acted like thugs it would have resulted in fouls and thus no disposession. We were disposessed a lot.In the first 10 minutes were barely able to send the ball forward to the attackers because of their pressure. They did a lot of bad fouls but they also pressed well and gave us problems even when not doing bad fould. We were struggling anyway in passing.

So, Espanyol gone, Bilbao gone, Valencia gone, AM gone, Madrid gone, Sevilla gone, Celta gone.

That leaves us with Villareal, Sociedad and potentially Malaga as tough away games left.

We should be fine. Just focus and get the wins on Camp Nou.

btw shity ground, the ball bouncing up and down all time + all of those intercepts ( lots of them with foul ) + 2 hitting the bar
but the ref really pissed me off

Less painfull than depor or valencia in terms of actual play, way more frustrating due to the fact that it's asspanyol, we had our chances but played only a good 20 mins at the start of the 2nd half, we had 3 chances, 2 hit the post, the ref was clearly on a mission, the turf was bad, move on

We do seem to lose way too many points do to complacency like against Valencia or Depor.
This one also could have been won.

Still the only thing that keeps me from worrying is 3 things.
1: our bench will improve from now.
2: Atletico depends on luck way too much to grind out these wins, that will cost them points soon
3: Real are managed by Benitez

The refereeing in Spain, it's quite amazing how they have developed their underhand tactics so well. Screw us over again and again and again, but not in the more obvious way every time (like today) which would even get noticed by the ignorant world media.

You can turn around and say there wasn't any big decision that decided the outcome of the game; true, but the kind of shit we had to face from those thugs till they got yellows, it became almost impossible for us to do anything with the ball. When a referee keeps blowing for free kicks in the middle of the pitch, not showing yellows, the thug opponents couldn't care less, in fact, they are more than happy to wind down the clock.

This effectively negates anybody from playing football for a large portion of the game, before finally giving a yellow for some obvious challenge towards the end. There was one obvious pull on Neymar I think it was, early in the game, a standard yellow for the cynical pullback, which everybody just assumes is a yellow and moves on. He blew a foul and didn't brandish the yellow. At this point I knew this cunt was going to screw us.

Apart from that, why on earth did we not try shooting from outside the box? We didn't do it in the earlier years, but it IS something we have been doing under Enrique; think - Rakitic just a few games back scoring us the opener. There were plenty of opportunities, and when you haven't been able to score for 70 minutes, surely, someone should have had a go!

It's a weird thing, but Messi somehow can't shoot after he's come back from his injury. I mean, people come back with bad finishing, just sloppy play, he seems to be okay with other things (not yet at his best ofc) but for some reason he can't generate any more power than a 5th grade kid when he actually attempts to shoot! I held off on making this comment till now as I thought it could have bene a one off, but I've noticed in every game so far that his shot has been so tame and straight at the keeper. Can't really come up with an explanation for it, it's just odd! Suarez missing open goal from about a meter away - sums up the night.

I HATE ESPANOL. I FUCKING HATE THAT CLUB. /endrant
