It's why we need a new centerback this summer.

For the last 4 years we have required a proper cb. All we get is excuses.

In a sense Pep did us no favours in converting Mascherano to cb. We have put off the signing of one forever.

Cb is one of those positions especially at Barça where you need a specialist. Vermaelan and MATHIEU are just ordinary.

And Mascherano did GREAT tonight considering he had to play with Vermaelen, Adriano and Vidal (all of whom did poor tonight).

It was really a poor display today. Adriano's time at Barca is clearly over.

I agree but we need someone who can step in when Pique or Masche isn't there. And Masche is getting older too.

First half was that bad it was like watching England play.

Jittery and nervous at the back, Verm was just comically bad.Ball retention was piss poor and really bad decision making didn't help..We often panic when pressed for the first 5/10 mins in games, but this lasted virtually all the first half ffs.

Much better in 2nd half, but you have to question the starting 11 imo, especially that back 4.

Lucky to get away with that one.

We were dreadful in the first half, picked it up in the second half, but still an all around shaky performance. Regardless, three vital points were achieved in a game where we missed some key players and thats the most important thing.

This game gave me a heart attack. This is the type of game that wins championship. the victory was all that mattered. we know barca can play well and unbelievably incredible sometimes. But we need games like this to prove that winning is not easy and that they're not machines. But we'll be ready to go against Atletico. We're at HOME for the big games, ATLETICO & Real Madrid. Neymar would be back also. I'm feeling good about that match.

I didn't watch the match because I was at work yesterday but as I heard not so good performance but what matters is 3 points.. Atletico face Sevilla today at home and I hope for a draw. Its important to win matches even if we play poorly..

Something of a lucky win yesterday. We have been relatively poor for some time now. The only good excuse I can come up with is that our players have played too many games. Also, injuries.

With the CL coming up fast, our game should be rising during the next weeks.
