I am not a fan of the current board but I don’t know what vision Font has in the sporting realm so I question if a new board will make any significant difference.
We definitely need new players (to replace the old guards). I don’t want to sound ungrateful but we will sure hit a rock bottom when Messi, Suarez, Pique, Busquets etc. are out but we should start getting better from there, with new players and a cultural change, one that focuses on work rate, hard work and making tireless runs than some sort of eye-trickery and nice moves.
I hope by then we will get Nagelsmann for a complete rebuild.

Setien has been dealt a shitty hand no question but the same could in some ways be said for EV when he took over.. this shit mentality started in Lucho's final season losing 4-0 to PSG (we cameback that time) and then 3-0 vs Juve over 2 legs with no reply. Valverde was an awful manager so thats not me defending him but the main issues we see now were showing even before he took over
i don't think it matters who we make manager at this point, they are destined to fail with the current group of players. thats why the world class manager the fans call for wouldn't go near this current Barca
i hate to say it but it would of made more sense to write off this season, keep EV til summer then give the job to Setien so he has pre-season to get his vision across and improve the fitness. trying to do this halfway through a season is ridiculous
I love Leo as much as the rest of Barca fans but now you see the negatives of him in your team more than ever. He might as well play 9 or 10 because on the wing he causes only issues with the team balance wise. No defense work rate ever. I understand how great he is offensively, but tough games really bring the worst out of Barcelona and not the best. Fati should be nowhere near starting for a team of Barca's standard even if he shows great promise. Roberto is absolute trash. Griezmann has been totally screwed over by the system playing anywhere except his actual position. I think now people are starting to realize that the coach isn't really the issue as much as they thought it was. The team is literally spent. Rant over

A clearout has been needed for years. Valverdes biggest failing was not phasing them out.

Exactly, it doesn’t matter who is in charge (Valverde did make things worse by aiding and abetting the senior players and accommodating the toxic culture created by them), Xavi or not, it is not going to make any significant difference with this same group of players.
Our hope lies in when they are all out of here. Long and painful rebuild for sure but we will only start getting better from there.

Barcelona is a dream job for most people.
