Agree with you all here regarding the rain and Espanyol thuggery. We fans may want to put this match behind us but this game is significant for the genius Ernesto Valverde who’s broken the record books. Well deserved!

I thought it was a pretty ludicrous idea to put Messi on that kind of a pitch though. Was 3 points really worth risking the GOAT for? Especially when tensions were already high, and Asspanyol thugs were flying into challenges, boosted by the fact that they can use the rain and slippery pitch as excuses for their DragonBall Z challenges.
