Barca actually looked more threatening and lively as a team when he was out(imo), cant replace the individual quality of Messi, but it seems players are more willing to step up when Messi isn`t on the field, and they did so very well for a time.

No all the offensive inspiration lately is by messi or facilitated by messi.

Besides the obvious problems with tactics or lack of them to be more exact, Copa del Rey effort fucks us up once again. Should've used our subs even in that second game against Sevilla even if we had to come back from a 0-2 result. So what if we would have lost? Who gives a flying fuck about the mickey mouse cup. Especially after 4 consecutive trophies.

Same shit different year. Now the players are knackered out there, barely moving, even themselves admiting that they are tired, but no, that fucking Cup is what's important. It's like Groundhog day only that it's fucking Groundhog year.

I mean, there are already problems from the get go with Valverde's tactics and lack of coaching but having tired players also is too much. Instead of having the title wraped up by now and focusing on CL we have to labour out there on 3 fronts with none if them secure.

Truly world class management of the team by Valverde and co. Just sign a life time contract with him already.

Sorry bros, but this speech is absurd because is son of the moment.
Each game is different for a lot of situations.
Just some weeks ago Citizens didn't win and had problem against teams in a low position of ranking.

Not too many of the players are now at their best. Ter Stegen, yes. Pique is playing really well, Lenglet is good. Most of the rest of the key players must continue to play big minutes because the team has no viable alternatives.

But Coutinho has to go to the bench now, must go with Dembele or even Malcom.

Vidal, too, needs to move down the depth chart. His passing is just not good enough. Put Alenya out there instead.

For me, team is above Cous feelings and he needs to be benched ASAP... Dembouz and Malcom have made much more impact. Sory Cou, but 160m tag can't be the only validation.

Someone actualy said that Aleña needs in and Vidal out. Vidal is a sub to raise the energy. He can't offer what Aleña can.

Many users underrate Vidal.
He's still a great player and a wonderful backup, but can also play in the starting eleven in important matches.
