So now its Messi getting best out of system instead of Messi saving the coach as always? Whats the difference really? First 2 goals were imho exactly those goals Messi delivered based on pure individual excellence and result of opponent dangerous mistakes.

What? Messi so far has had a lot of great goal scoring opportunities in his favorite area of the pitch (that “false 9” area) under Setien. He gets the ball there regularly. Under EV he had to score from free kicks and had fewer chances overall.

This is still better than Valverde. At least we are creating more scoring chances. We won’t win CL with our defense anyways, but at least I feel better about winning La Liga.
