Least we know the Madrid derby one of those teams or both will drop points.

Madrid derby is next Saturday.

This weekend Malaga hosts Real and hopefully park the bus hardcore and Villareal visits Atletico and hopefully shocks them.

The Madrid derby will favour Real as Atletico have a mid week trip to PSV in CL and Real get a 7 day break.

Reading the comments in here it sounds like we are some mid table team. I know how important Busi or Pique are and I do not think that Las Palmas away is a push over but we are still heavy favorites (like in 99% of matches) and should not pretend to be fucked or something just because some starters are left at home.
Our guys know what they have to do to win such games. We were cruising in most of our easy matches in the last months and stepped up when it mattered. You can never be 100% sure but I think Las Palmas will be able to keep it close but still lose the tie.

Yeah by that logic we should win nearly every game easily.
Truth is we have been weak on the road all season struggling except the match vs Real and a few others.
Given the circumstances its logical to be wary of this match. Lets all hope we are wrong though and Barca cruise to a 0-4:p

Las Palmas, although in the relegation zone, so far this season in 12 home matches have picked up points in 8 of them and have only conceded 11 goals. When you also consider that we have hardly been spectacular away from home, this could be a tough one.

Just no injuries please.

Didn't they lose at home, 3-0 to an Atletico that barely scores more than 2 goals per game? They can't be as good as described here.

Exactly my thought. The Atletico result was the first thing that came to my mind. We should beat this lot by at least 2-0.

Isn't that the case every game around here, though?

No matter who we play there are people who just know that we're losing points while vastly inflating bad teams.

that is true, but i think nobody is saying that las palmas is strong, the thing is that barca has arsenal in few days, also away, a they had gijon few days before, all away, also barcelona at this time does not look so convicing on the pitch, + bad pitch and bad weather, i think it is gonna be little complicated

Well, every game can turn out bad but i've never understood the prevalent pessimism, regardless of form.

Las Palmas are an awful team by any objective standard, and any of those circumstances shouldn't deny us a win. Can we drop points? Sure but i don't think playing Arsenal on Tuesday will be a factor. We're rotating every game so we have fresh players coming in all the time.

I dont understand why people dont get this and act like its an easy game just because Las Palmas is a weak team.
The situation and circumstances make it tough, its similair to how Bolivia sucks but its a pain in the ass to play them in la Paz.
