Great result, awful second half performance. If you're going to sit deep (which I hate by the way) you need an outlet, which Suarez is too slow to provide. Perfect half for Dembele. Take Suarez off if you're scared of being exposed. But that was just dreadful to watch. No control, no threat. Good game, played with intensity and focus against the rugby style of Atletico. Fielding Andre Gomes instead of Paulinho early in the match was a huge mistake, cameras were on Valverde a few times simply because of his beloved player failures on the pitch.

I also have to praise Thomas Partey, it was a monster defensive game for the Ghanaian. He is developing into a key player for Atletico as DM.
