This keeps getting repeated that Iniesta is getting massively over played.

He has started 2 of the last 4 league games and 4 of the last 8 and barely ever plays 90 mins.

Iniesta doesnt even look tired he just looks old as he has for years now.

Well, everyone not related to Vidal has to agree that he deserves being omitted from the 18 for tomorrow's game. All the Valverde critics must admit that he does eventually move on from those who are not producing. The exception was Suarez early this season, it sure was good coaching to continue with El Gordo.

He hasnt moved on from Paulinho or Gomes, doubt he'll move on from Vidal. Gomes was omitted long ago, but somehow was included again and now likely to start. No point giving Dembele 20 mins every match and expect him to improve. Time will tell. If they continually start again and play majority of the minutes, then something is wrong. If I'm a Valverde critic, what makes you? Players taking full blame of the state they are in?

He is overplayed. He should be a sub most of the time in the league.

Not to keep him fresher though. There is an argument he is past his best and Barca should have better which I agree with.

But some people seem to think he is still top level and being run into ground and point to that when he doesnt play well.

Yea, more like he is past his best and old, and he's been played too much given this considerent. He hasn't played that much if we don't look at his age. I only say he's been played too much in the context of his age. I would've liked from him more of a Xavi 2014-15 role, the decline is very much in the same vein.
