How can you not be worried? We're in Oct and we have half the squad injured and the rest are out of form, bad first touches, poor shooting, defense is garbage.. We gave Emery his first win ffs.. We're a joke around Europe right now. Nobody fears us, Bayern, Real nobody.

There there, no reason to go overboard either.

Sevilla got very lucky to win this. Count the hits in the woodwork, the crazy FK situation and the incredible saves from Rico. With all this they just won 1-2. We didn't play bad.

January will come sooner than you think, and with that Arda and Vidal can join the team, and hopefully some more reinforcements will be brought in as well. Considering how incredibly unlucky we've been with injuries I think we're doing quite well to be honest...

Good timing for the international break, on the positive another of the toughest away games out of the way. Need to start playing a settled defence which changes every week.

I'm too hungover to deal with this today.

After the second goal, I couldn't bear to watch it anymore. So goddamn unlucky.

Very, very unlucky loss today. It's difficult to win at Sanchez Pizjuan if you hit the post 3 times. Offensively we didn't play bad, especially if you remind that Iniesta and the best player in the history of football are injured. On the other side, our defensive attitued is really terrifying. It will be very difficult to win anything if our defence continues like this. But I'm convinced our team will fix this out in the next week, and can't wait for the clasico so that this team can prove all the pessimists of this forum wrong :p

we didn't play well at all! sevila had more chance making at first half, and more possession.
we only looked better after sevilla scored two goals, because they stopped attackin after that.
something is just wrong.

I don't think I'm going overboard. We really haven't played well even before all the injuries hit. Hitting posts and missing chances are still about team preparation/training and that's on Lucho and the players. It's one thing to miss a chance here and there, or hit the woodwork once or twice, but.. I don't think it's just bad luck. Plus, our defense doesn't even look close to being sorted out.

Why is Munir in the first team ? I really do not get it ! .

For a huge club like Barca , you would think that they would have fixed their defence problems that existed for the last several years .Terrible defence and if they play like this in the Classico , we will be slaughtered .

The only player i saw trying very hard was Neymar . He is certainly not messi , but he deserves all the respect .

Without Munir we would not have won the last two games before this one.

Agreed, I don't think we're playing nearly good enough. But then again, given our current situation with the ban and the injuries, I'm just pretty happy that we're still in a relatively good position with the first el clasico still to be played. If Messi and Iniesta make it back for the clasico and we win, and can manage to be in a good position in the table in January as we get fresh new players in, I think we can have chances for the title this season as well.

But yeah, I completely agree that there are some worrying signs - especially regarding the overall intensity of the team and our defense. The bad luck with chances hitting the woodwork is bound to turn around sometime. I just thought saying that we are a joke around Europe and that no one fears us anymore is taking it a bit too far. After all, it is only October - in a couple of months we will have players back from their injuries and two new players being able to play in Arda and Vidal, with probably one or two new signings in January as well. A bit early to start writing us off I think.

I finally admitt that Suki is fat. People have been talking about it for quite some time, but I refused that possibility.

Now I realise that it could actualy be truth... 'cause Suki from his Liverpool days would outrun everybody and score without breaking a sweat and since he came here he just can't move even close as fast...

I still claim: IMO, Rakitić is not Barca Class player.

Sergi Roberto is a revelation for me-I have ssoooooooooooooooo underestimated him.

Should've taken those 30 M or how much Arsenal offered for Munir...

EPL playing style suits much more Suarez then La Liga. Furthermore, here he barely has any space at all and almost all the bals that get to him find him with the back at the goal. That clearly wasn't the case back in Britain.

A good 1st half, but so many wasted chances. And again the defense collapsed. Emery's subs made Sevilla weak, they lost their counters.

Everyone's form is worrying, apart from Roberto. Neymar had some glimpses, but he isn't suited to the creator role. He's best as he was played last season.

Ofc he isn't suited for creating like Messi but I really liked him today when created chances for Suarez and others. While Messi (and Iniesta) is out he should be the one responsable to creating and imo he was got at it.

The joke around Europe, I meant right now. We're the champions of Europe everybody is watching us, Ask any Madrid or Bayern fan, they would love to play us right now..Can you blame them? Injuries aside, it's shocking how are overall play has dropped, and theirs no signs of improvement.

Good thing we have an international break coming, and most likely will have Messi (and Iniesta) back for the el clasico. I agree, facing those teams today would be bad, but when the time for the el clasico comes we might be firing on all cylinders again. It doesn't take long for things to turn around, and seeing how well we played especially in the first half today I would say there is nothing majorly wrong with the team that has to be fixed, rather small adjustments. Little things like benching Mathieu for instance

The defense does need some serious work, but again I think a lot would be fixed simply by benching Mathieu for a while. He has been more or less directly involved in most of the goals we've conceded recently.

The positive thing is that Real wasted 4 points against weak teams. Thank god for that. And so happens that despite these problems, we're 1 point ahead of them right now. And they didn't play Atletico, Sevilla and Celta away from home.

What we must do, what we absolutely must do, is win all games until the clasico, and there are very high chances that we will go on Bernabeu as Liga leaders.
