I think Gomes was a big part of that. He needs extra time to think. This was nearly the first game in the league we failed to score in and Gomes starting imo was a big part of that.

Sadly i think Gomes will play a lot this season and as he does, we will drop points. He just does not fit our system. Too slow - thinks differently.

We looked much better when he subbed out Iniesta for Deulofeu. We finally had some wing play and could stretch their defense. Gomes did good in Iniesta`s spot.

Valverde should fuck off with his 442 that makes us look like Atletico at their worst, no control or creativity, hunting for a goal to win 1-0.
