Casualties from this match: A broken TV, a broken TV pilot, a broken glass.
It was crazy, at least for me. I never get phased so much in these games, especially against Barca, since I always prepare myself that Sevilla is going to lose.
However, this was a special time since we are in the form of... maybe a historical form of Sevilla? It was staggering to see my team go down 0-2 at half time, but I can safely say that, that first half performance, until the goal of Banega came, was the most spectacular tiki-taka-ish I have seen from Barca in a couple of seasons now! It was just tremendous. I was embarrassed since that performance made Sevilla look like a bunch of bums in the field.
Anyway, when you have a player like Banega and a coach like Emery, things can change for good. I think that in this match, the crucial part was the tactical mistake from Luis Enrique. Instead of going for the deepening of the goal margin, he took off Neymar (who had the game of career probably today, he was playing like he does for Brazil usually). After Sevilla took the upper hand in the match during the second half, L.Enrique was afraid that his midfield is too loose and featured Xavi to try and control the midfield, which was quite wrong imo, since the offensive power was lost.
Nevertheless, I'm glad it turned out like this. Also remember one thing, Sevilla will not lose at home this season anymore. Stay assured that we will beat the hell out of RM, since in the matches against RM we usually go out for an absolute victory, especially at home.
My bet is that Barca wins La Liga still.
