Lord Nicklas Bendtner

If Adebayor can score 30 goals in a season, then so can Bendtner. He scored 15 as a 3rd choice back in 2008 when he was a teenager. His first touch is sunday-league level at times, but his positioning and finishing is top class. He's definitely going to be a late bloomer like Drogba or Eduardo, but all he needs is consistency.

It's true that his horrible attitude and delusions of grandeur brings him a lot of criticism, but one thing that's holding him back are constant injuries. I don't think he has ever completed a full season without a massive injury that destroys his progress/confidence every single time. I wonder sometimes how the world would view him if he was a humble guy like Diaby.

Well, I think Adebayor is a better footballer but sure, he probably could score that amount of goals. As for his first touch, I'd put lots of emphasis on "at times" because he's actually quite technically gifted (for a big man ofc). But yep, you're right in saying that it's terrible sometimes.
It's also the fact that he never seems to be in great physical condition either. He's not fat or anything but he could definitely lose a pound or two.
If he can stay humble, stay fit, work hard and find some consistency he'll be a good striker.

his touch can be pretty impressive at times, watch this;

He's really not that bad. Just incredibly injury prone and with a big mouth.

He doesn't score spectacular goals, but he has scored against some big clubs in very big games (at Camp Nou, Stamford Bridge, Anfield, etc). In every season with us, he would get a long injury just when things were going well for him, and then have to fight for his place against RVP and Adebayor. At Juventus he was out most of the season, at Sunderland injured half the time. He needs to sort out those issues more than his attitude; it's getting to Diaby levels at this point.

It's not too late for him though. At 25 years old, he's roughly the age that Adebayor was when he first made his move from France to England. Drogba was fresh from Ligue2 having played for Guingamp, etc. I still think he'll eventually turn it around. It's pretty much over for him at Arsenal if we sign a new striker, though. A season or two at a midtable club or in another league, and he can step up to another level.

The first picture doesn't look so fake :lol: or maybe it does cause he's looking to nowhere. The second maybe.

Bendtner: Ibrahimovic is on the way down now and I'll be the world's best striker by 2012

Caught in another scandal as he was harassing a taxi driver in Denmark when Arsenal faced Bayern. The taxi driver told him to leave the car as he was acting provocatively. Bendtner then insulted him and when the taxi driver stopped to call the police he ran up to the car, pulled his pants down and rubbed himself against the window of the car while whipping it with his belt.

The Danish tabloids have been at it all day since it got out. Other stories claim that him and his buddies had also vandalised the interior of the taxi.

Bendtner has really got to be the dumbest bastard ever to grace the beautiful game... and the streets of Copenhagen. And London for that matter. Hell, just about everywhere, really.
