Hopefully that will earn him a start at the weekend. Given Baines' contribution to Everton he couldn't expect to take his place straight away but there's no doubt Digne is now the better player. Baines hasn't been bad this season but he has lost all his pace.

Yeah and it didn't take very long either. Baines was a really good LB in his prime but he got old and struggled a lot getting back in time when it comes to defending.

you can tell Digne did pick up quite a bit from his time here especially going forward.

He looked very good along with Gomes and Mina manning the left flank. Happy that they are doing so well outside of Barca. Lately it seems all of the recent players who have left have been playing well. Paco and Rafinha when he went to Inter included.
