Yea,he was a really good scout prior to becoming assistant manager, so it could be good to make him head of la Masia. I don't see why we let Rubi go though.

I think having a former successful Barcelona forward/attacker as our coach will be GREAT for us.
Bolstering our defense with Ter Stergen and 1 or 2 CBs will be immensely helpful. But in my opinion, what we have lacked the most recently is dynamic and creative and precise ATTACKING football. Our chance-creation and finishing as of late, and really this entire season, has been terrible. Even Iniesta was admitting that we just can't figure out how to create chances and score these days.
I think we need to reinforce our tiki taka, our supportive positional play, and close-quarters, 1-2 passing. This will allow us to keep the ball but also with a noticeably greater ATTACKING INTENT and drive like we used to have. We need our midfielders LOOKING for through balls and 1-2 opportunities with our forwards, and we need forwards who are CREATIVE and are set on ATTACKING the goal rather than just being slow and indecisive.
Either way... these are just my half-baked ideas. But I'm optimistic that Lucho, as a former attacking player himself, will definitely help spice up and invigorate our chance creation, attacking and scoring game like we've needed. (Again, the bolstered defense and a solidified midfield will help with this as well).
Overall I'm digging Lucho... seems a stronger character than Tata was... and he's a Cule through and through... feels good to me.
