Luis Enrique

Seen some downplaying already in regards to Lucho Winning the award mostly from butthurt Juve fans on reddit.

Typical same crap like always "He was shit at Roma" "My dog can win the treble with MSN" "His squad and Barca's money carried him"

Seems like Juve fans refuse to acknowledge Lucho, has improved a lot since his Roma days and are constantly finding excuses to shit on him and downplay his accomplishments since then.

Honestly it's the same reason people didn't vote for neymar and suarez. These two have a claim to be the best individual players after Messi, won the treble +CWC and supercopa europa, destroyed RM without Messi, but "they had it easier than Ronaldo or Lewandowski because messi is in their team"

They should be mad at Guardiola's placement in there then, not Lucho. Even if he had beaten out Pep, he was never going to beat Lucho. As soon as we lifted big ears, it was clear who was going to sweep the Gala. They are blind to the politics of this thing and need to get a grip.

I think the 4-0 in Madrid made everyone realize how much the team improved in a year. MSN looked clueless in that first game against Madrid where we lost 3-1. Granted I think Mathieu at LB played a part in that but that game showed that you can't just throw world class players on a field, tell them to just play and expect it to fall into place. Ask anyone whose coached Brazil in the last decade how that's worked out for him.

If anything, Lucho's greatest gift to this team hasn't been the offensive side of our game, it's been the defense. The amount of clean sheets we've had recently is baffling considering how we've looked at the back over the last five years. That's why he won it and that's how he won me over.

Spoke up against appointing that cunt González as referee for Bilbao match after his shameful conduct in Espanyol match.

Glad he did it. God knows president of Barcelona won't as he is a rat looking coward and a former Asspanyol socio.

What a biased point of view. Surely there were, and there always are, people who will criticize anyone for anything. But FCB supporters had valid arguments to doubt and criticize Lucho at some point last season. He was making strange decisions, repeating his mistakes, and top of all, refused to ever explain himself (which of course, he doesn't have to do, but it sure would have helped to calm things down if the public knew he had his reasons for doing the things that he did). It's no secret that things reached a crisis-level in January. If you accept that there was a turning point last season and that things started going well after that, then you must also accept that there was reason for doubt before that. The fact that he turned the boat around and ended the season with such great success only goes to his credit, and all of us who criticized him now commend him for that. But let's not act like people kept criticizing him after he turned things around, because they didn't. However, kudos to those who kept a positive outlook and believed in him turning things around, it's a great attitude to have, even if it was simply based on good faith.

Luis Enrique: "Weak first half, many mistakes, couldn't keep ball possession, can't remember a worse first half."

Luis Enrique: "In the second half, we competed better, but even then we made more mistakes than usual. Best thing was the team's spirit."

Luis Enrique: "It is easier to win when you play well, but we managed to get three points when playing badly.”

Good to see he doesn't sugarcoat things. It really was an awful first half.

Honest words by Lucho.
I think Málaga even had more shots on target than Barca
