Luis Enrique

It blows my mind that some people are asking for a manager change ... we're still up for the double, and Lucho has achieved extraordinary things already despite adversary circumstances.

Guy is a champion, give him the means, and we're up there favourites for the trebble come next December :)

That doesn't mean shit if we bottle it when it really matters.

Unless he wins CL and League every year the team have bottled it?

Is that the rules?

A double is a great season ffs.

It could easily have been another treble had we not bottled it at the most crucial time. And the double is far from guaranteed, again because we bottled it at the most crucial time.

Not calling for his head or anything, but there's no denying we fucked up at the worst possible time. Can't have that happen again.

A double would be a good season but it's still a waste in my eyes, considering what it could have been if not for that run of games. If we somehow lose the league it'll be a disaster but I'll probably still want Lucho to stay. If only because a) he earned the benefit of a doubt last season and b) we're not getting anyone better anyway.

Who 'bottled' it?

The players? Lucho?

Thats just a generic cliche that means little.

Bottling is too strong a word to be used for describing the players who won a treble just a year ago or for describing the manager who led the said treble-winning team during a freaking transfer ban period!

Double is still not won but if he does pull it he deserves every praise he can get.

As much as he's blessed with talented squad he also worked around not being allowed to sub or rest (at all or sufficiently) Messi and Neymar. Played the season without signings, losing first subs Xavi and Pedro, without Rafinha and through a nightmare of a schedule.

Even if he doesn't win the double.. honestly what can he do other than instill motivation in the players ?

This is not about tactics anymore, we know we can win any game we have left.

I'm not blaming Lucho for anything that happens this season no matter how it happens, okey may be not anything, his signings didn't work out at all so that's kinda on him but other than that, no blame from me.

I just had a look at a Bayern forum. Oh boy, do they dislike Pep there. Kind of tough to see actually, even though a lot of people here, too, are not Pep's biggest fans.

Pep had a fantastic squad at Bayern; Lucho does too here at Barca. But Lucho actually managed to realize the squad's potential. That's why having a proper manager is so crucial. Lucho fits really damn well at Barca, in a way Pep never really did at Bayern.

If Lucho was sacked (god forbid) who would actually be a better replacement? We'd have another 2-3 years of frustration instead--terrible, considering they would be Messi's last at his best.

We can still take the domestic double. Considering how DOMINANT La Liga teams are in both the Champions League and the Europe League, that is no small feat. Spain has the best teams.

6 Ballons for Messi

but what if he wins 7??

These guys are delusional, I've actually seen them saying "with heynkes we would have got 3 trebles in the row".

Next season when ancelotti loses bundesliga to dortmund mby they will understand pep's genius.

Well, you seem to be sure that with Pep/Paco Jémez we would have won 2 trebles in a row. So not that different.

Well said.

And yeah, taking few or one opinion from another forum (Jupp winning consecutive trebles) and then "concluding" entire forum is crazy to suit his argument
