I know things don't work that way but next season maybe he can take it a bit easier in Copa and not play any starters there until semis (if we make it) or at all.

I think had we not played those matches we would have looked more fresh vs. Atletico.

We have been a bit lucky over the past 2 seasons in the CdR though. This season Real got disqualified and Atletico got knocked out by someone else.

Don't know if it will happen again next season.

He really lived this match to the fullest with Masch blackout giving him headaches, Suarez injury crippling our atack and Madridista ref missing out to hand some blatant yellows.
In the end his decision to put Mathieu in for Rakitic proved right.
