I liked the fact that he kept the better players from the first half(mathieu, Alba and TS) for a l'il longer, and in doing so sent a message of meritocracy to the rest. I don't know if he initially intended to keep TS for full 90. But that was good man-management, given the goal was not his fault, and knowing he has the manager's confidence would have really helped TS a great deal.

I think all keepers will get to play the full 90 minutes. So Bravo and Masip will Play the other friendlies.

If Lucho thought Masip could be a serious contender for the #1, then there was no need to bring in Bravo. Rotating TS and Masip would suffice. How is staying on the bench for a fortnight help MAtS? It's about time Lucho decides who even wants to 've as his starter (he's been watching them in training for sometime), and start giving him as much time in the pre-season, so reliable communication is estd between GK and defense before match day 1.

He won't play Masip in competitive games. He just said Masip was first choice to avoid answering TS vs Bravo questions.

So the players also have to wear official FC Barcelona gear and only that when they're with the team if the Lucho's rules reported in the media are to believed.

Does that mean no Systeme Tchakap :eusa_think:

How can we expect to see Enriques squad rotations work?

I mean I can't see us rotating as evenly as we did last season . . . .
On the other hand I certainly hope it is more than we rotated during the 2012-13 season which cost us at the end of the season in the Champions League

Well, he did say that Masip and Bravo would play the other friendlies, but not that it would be 90 minutes, so who knows. :p I think they'll all play one full game though (supposedly Bravo vs Napoli and Masip vs Helsinki?) and whoever leads the race by then will play in the Gamper trophy game. And I agree, would be wiser to let whomever he sees as the #1 build a good understanding with the defence as soon & consistently as possible, but I figure he really hasn't made up his mind yet.

Bravo will play the whole Napoli match and Masip might play the whole Helsinki match. Everyone has to be given equal chances.

Although I do like Luis Enrique's attitude of working hard, I still have lots of doubts about his managerial prowess. A lot of people are hyping him because he was a great player, seems to be a cool guy and is way tougher than what we have had the last 2 seasons. But was has he proven? Guardiola was a lucky shot with him winning so incredibly much during his very first stint as manager of a huge club.

Luis Enrique, I hope he surprises me. But part of me doesn't believe the hype and seriously keep in the back of my mind this might not work at all.
