Improvin' Perfection!!
I do not know if this really suits us better than 4-3-3 but Lucho sure succeeded in getting players to start running...... Pressing the opponents!

And I know that all the three goals were sort of lucky, ours as well as Atletico's, but I saw we did get chances however, Suarez had a terrible match and I saw us losing many opportunities because of that

Not sure. It was a lucky win and Messi looked even less involved.

It was against Atletico though, and recent games against them have all been tight.

I think this system provides better protection for the back and opens up the wings which have been our problems all season. I think he should continue with it. Sure we didn't play great, but still ended up having as many chances against Atletico as they did vs us.

Against PSG we got torched by their midfield press and dynamic forwards, but today most of their chances came from crosses and their fast, dynamic forwards like Griezmann, Gameiro and Carrasco got shut out, while their midfield press was troublesome, but still countered with a much better effect than against PSG, Betis.

Compare this game to the one at home earlier in the season. That game was close too, but Atletico's forward and midfield were allowed to run riot. Today, it was not exactly the same.

I disagree. Messi was less involved and whole point of this was about that.
We were very lucky to stay alive in first half and barely created anything having scored after 2 rebounds.

It's really not about formation anyway. Busquets, Iniesta and few others look too soft and slow in reaction and nothing is going to change that. New manager who can motivate the team is needed or we simply have to come to terms that some of our key players are done at this level.

Was a far better performance than in recent weeks and his changes helped that.

Still a bit to be fixed but would much rather see this for rest of season.

I think Donak is talking about what should happen now not next season anyway
I am a bit torn about this,I think we have actually played most of the game with 4-3-3 with Rafinha RW and Messi AM but in a defensive way.

We got to make some sacrifices I guess to make the overall team function better, have to make the rest of the season count and look forward to what a new coach and set of players brings next season. I'd still like to see how this works against Sporting Gijon though.

I think that we played bad.
As others said, goals were lucky, we didn't create any chances.
We won a match because of luck and because players showed more passion than in previous Months.

MSN were the same, Iniesta was poor, Roberto is horrible, Busi and Rafinha were meh.
Also, imo, we lacked fullbacks to take the ball out.
Even when we have fullbacks in 433, we struggle to take the ball out since Cbs can't take the ball out and it seems that midfielders can't receive the ball at all.
Then in 433, at least Alba/Digne and Roberto can run with the ball and take it into the opponent's half and then pass it to some midfielder.

Today it was even worse.
If you give a ball to Cbs, they don't know what to do with it.
And midfielders weren't able to receive the ball at all.

We were better in the 2nd half, but again, it is hard to tell whether it was because of 343 or because Atletico Madrid lost their energy since they played a CL match this week.

So, zero control from our team, 2-3 chances, 2 lucky goals, and a better play in the 2nd half which I would contribute more to our passion and AM's loss of energy than to 343.

I have no idea why people are considering this match an improvement. Sure we won and played better than against PSG but we were still quite crap.

Both goals were a lot of luck and there was hardly any 'system' or 'plan' visible. We were just very lucky, just like in the return leg in copa at camp nou against atletico.

I'm not sure if the slight improvement was because of this tactical change, or more down to players' improved motivation to win this and get to no1 spot in the league, even if Madrid has 2 games in hand.

Was a 3-4-3 in possession and 4-4-2 in defence. Stifled them enough so they had to resort to crosses and miscommunication between the defence.

Yes.
In the last few Months we played without tactics plus our motivation was poor.

Today we played with equally as horrible tactics, but it seems that motivation has gone up since the 80th minute of a match against Leganes.
Players look alive since then and they seem to care again. As if they want to win.

So, our tactics were still a mess, but we could have seen on faces of some players how they cared a lot (Pique, Mats, Neymar, Suarez at most) and how we celebrated our goals.

It is hard to tell whether we will win a league, but a part of passion is back.

Yes, but I wouldn't say it stifled them. Atletí created a ton of chances in the first half largely thanks to the confusion in our defence.

We also have a bit of confidence after getting 3 points from calderon which should help us too in the coming matches.

If Real loses tonight they will be ahead by just one point and that would be a lot of motivation for the players.

We have 3 home gomes now with the last one being against PSG. Time to get accustommed at camp nou for these matches and wreak havoc in the next 2 matches trying to score as many as possible and come PSG, carry that home form momentum and try for a miracle.

We still have to make a change. And a big one. If some extraordinary bad element needs to happen so the players can sense that the shit has hit the fan, and then act to fix that, then a manager change is needed. You never lose 4-0 to PSG if you are mentally and physically up there, at an optimal level.
