Lucho didn't do that bad in the first half.

Prior el classico, we had won all games without conceding

But he still had his whirlwind rotations that didn't benefit anyone, he was being widely regarded as a failure after the team began to melt down after that clasico, and then the nuclear explosion that went off when we lost to La Real had rumors of Lucho losing the faith of the board if he lost to Atletico starting to swirl.

And then, well, we beat Atletico. And then we beat everyone else. Lol.

If Lucho has even tiny bits of brain, he would choose Arsenal - No pressure nothing. It would take a whole lot of time for them to first get used to having a person with an aura around him. By the time they get enough composure to start questioning him he would very well win some thing and life would be a breeze, at least for 10 years or some thing!

Lucho did Italy where he learned the ropes, won everything with Barca, now's the time to cash in at epl like other successful managers have.

There's nothing to learn there from tactical point of view, fans aren't even close to German and quality of football is inferior to La Liga.

Quality of football is not inferior.

The top 2/3 teams from Spain have been ahead in recent years but below that EPL quality is better and even that gap between top 2/3 has not been there this season.

Yeah it is. Epl is attracting players but many get soft there as they see it as retirement plan. Football is much better in Spain.

But yeah, someone else could argue Porugal league is the best so it's all opinions. That is, until we look at who's been winning European titles and played finals in last decade or so.
List grows even worse for epl teams in the 90s when Serie A was the best so basically in our lifetime Epl has little to show for except money pumped in artificially through sugardaddy owners and mass marketing in China or US.

Many players will go there for the money but the general standard in La Liga is not higher.

For me La Liga has rightfully been called the best due to top teams in CL etc and possibly still is but below that La Liga is not great and could barely name may great players out of the top three sides in comparison to EPL.

Hope the rumours about TV deals slowing down are true. Too much money in that league.

Both are the top two though for me and still would just have La Liga ahead as think top teams are better although CL this year not done much for that argument.

If he was doing such a perfect job why did he announce he was leaving in November/December and why was the team progressively getting worse every moment after the treble was won?

We were way better in the double season than the treble one with the exception of the April month when age and lack of squad depth (thanks to transfer ban) catched the team badly. But we have played an all time great football that season, for some it was even better than Pep's year in terms of football as everything looked so easy for the team.
Lucho announced leaving between PSG games IIRC, that was February/March not December/November. And just as Pep once said the long you stay in a club the less new ideas you have, Lucho realized early that he his time is over and there is nothing wrong in that

Express Sport understands Chelsea are ready to axe Conte should the Blues slip to defeat against Watford at Vicarage Road tomorrow (8pm).

Former Barcelona boss Enrique is in pole position to take over, with the Spaniard currently on a sabbatical after leaving the Catalan giants at the end of last season.

Conte’s position at Chelsea has grown weak due to his regular criticism of the club’s transfer policy. And Spanish website Don Balon say Enrique is seeking guarantees from the west London club, and wants them to prove they are capable of signing big players by landing Dortmund star Reus.

I don't know from where that info originates but it's everywhere in the last hour.
...the only reason Conte is still in the job is that Luis Enrique turned down the chance to take over.

Reus? lol that's a big gamble. Not because he's not a great player but he gets injured all the time. His won't be able to deal with the Premier League schedule.
