yeah, he fought with carlos diogo. he didn't punch diogo for once :)

despite his aggressiveness, he is a good striker.

This deal is floundering again Milan should pay the correct fee for the player and stop dicking around.
There saying that they don't want to pay an inflated price, well they are part of the reason why the market is so inflated now they can stew in there own devices.

Yeah... 20 millions or even 25 was way too much worth it. Let them have Huntelaar :p

The best striker of Brazil at the moment, the best striker of Seville, one of the best in La Liga and Europe, even world, what more could i say ?

Luís Fabiano's not the best striker in the world. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is better, because he's a complete attacker. Luís Fabiano is just a finisher, though is excellent at that. Besides, David Villa is also better than him, and Eto'o and Torres may be better too, I think they are.

I didn't want him to come, and i'm still of that opinion. Would be just another Oliveira but older and harder to sell on.

both he and huntelaar need chances created for them to score. with your midfield being as woeful as it is, he'd suffer just as much as the dutchman.

so does pippo but to a lesser extent because he can turn half chances into goals.

Couldn't agree more. But with Fabiano age is not on his side like with Huntelaar. Huntelaar might be around long enough for us to establish a strong midfield again, or atleast can still be sold if our management decide to blame all the problems on the striker again.

absolutely.

the thing with moving on from your midfield is every now and again seedorf and pirlo will play like they used to and provide service, so you think "heyyy! they've still got it!"

and tbh I think if the rest of the midfield was completely different then seedorf could do a scholes/giggs and still provide despite age. but you can't rely on him, IMO, coz he's lazy and has accomplished so much he's just jogging along (mind you if you change the manager to someone external from the system it may force him to work hard).

pirlo, rino and ambro need to go and be replace. I suppose flamini can replace rino. but pirlo needs replacing and that's tricky (although if you get someone who can move and work, then less will be needed from flamini). ambro is even harder to replace coz he's an old-school box-to-box midfielder who will get forward and get you goals both in the air and on the deck and can defend solidly too.

I honestly think if you completely revamped your midfield 3 then the rest of your team bar left-back and goalkeeper isn't actually that bad. with a proper midfield behind them, ronaldinho and huntelaar will start performing to a much higher level (gaucho may never reach his 2005 peak but he can still be a very useful trequartista).

Its true, couldn't believe our luck this Summer when Chelsea were going to pay for Pirlo. Don't misunderstand me: He was great for this club, but really its over.

Problem is, there aren't many, if any players like him anymore, so who can replace him? Really Milan was built around him, I think actually it needs a whole new system adopted.

For the short term I think a more pragmatic system is required, and maybe Lazio can be the answer. Rossi is a manager who can make a tough to beat side out of no resources, he also doesn't take the kind of shit Leo gets from Rino and Ronaldinho. His old charges Pandev and Ledesma are also available for cheap, they can atleast bring in a bit of flair, pace and strength to the side. Really its the only feasable way I can see us improving as its cheap!
