Luis Suárez

he's still clumsy but then again i think his dribbling etc has always looked that way and were just focusing on it more in recent months. great game from him though, unlucky with that wrong offside call. hopefully he can continue improving, we'll need him against Chelsea. nothing would make me happier if we didn't need another striker come summer time and Suarez was back in beast mode, i love the guy

That long range shot at the end would've been a great goal.

He's clearly improving in every game. I'm starting to believe that knee injury was the main reason for his poor form at the start of the season. Now he seems physically fit and his movements are much more fluid. Will still take some time for him to establish a chemistry with Dembele and Semedo though Roberto will likely play in most important games and they already have great connection.

Not to sound harsh, but he's only taking on that shot because he doesn't have the legs to get away. If he takes one more touch and gets his head up Dembele's in. He's a lot better now than at the start of season, but unless he can step it up another level I'd be happy to have Griezman replace him.

You could be right and it's also understandable he was tired in the 80th minute but trying to look from his perspective I think it was his goalscoring instinct that lead him to take a shot. He was feeling good, saw GK out of the goal and tried to surprise him. It was also exhibition for the fans. People would've gone crazy had he scored from that position even if the game was already decided a long time ago. If it was still a close game I think he'd probably try to keep the ball and pass to Dembele.

Can someone clarify for me. In Spain the rule is that a team can not register more than 3 non EU players. We currently have 4, Suarez, Coutinho, Paulinho and Mina. There is much talk that we are looking to get Coutinho Italian citizenship, but on transfermarkt it says that Suarez also has Italian citizenship, but no other site have confirmed that, and last season he was counted alongside Neymar as non EU. If this is true and Coutinho also gets EU citizenship then another spot will be open for a new player.

His wife has Italian Citizenship and that's why he doesn't count as a Non-EU.

It's just me or did he lose some weight? He is more incisive. Better on the ball and his first touch improved dramatically which I attribute to a better fitness.

Nice ti see him back on track.

Yep he seems to be slowly gathering things together again. I don't think a replacement is needed def not in this transfer window. We all know how lethal he can be in full form.

Can you please explain what grizmann brings thats better than Suarez, pace? Ok i give you that and thats where it ends and Suarez is much more complete player then griezz ever will be. Do you guys ever watch griezz play? One of most overrated players ever its only cause he is white blond and french, he is not fit to tie el Pistolero boots. Suarez is when healthy best striker, his form is back just notice how much he runs and presses, beginning of season it was obvious he was injured

Fair points. Plus Dembele should have played him earlier and chose to shoot, so maybe he felt entitled to go himself.
