those guys probably think lewandowski, kane, cavani, benzema, greizmann (altho he's a SS), costa. score at every possible chance. don't get me started at lacazette, lukaku,
morata if you can consider them WS.

then, is not suarez in this top strikers list for you?
simply unbelievable...
for many users in this forum are always better the players of other teams...
the same thing of the children who have a lot of wonderful games, but they want those of their friends.

I meant those guys aren't better than suarez. they miss loads of chances too.

He has missed easy chances all his life. In his best season at Liverpool he scored 31 goals but averaged 5.5 shots per game, meaning that 4.5 shots per game didn't go in.

What matters is how many he scores overall and not how many he misses. If he manages to score 1 goal per game but misses 3 chances every game I'd take that over another striker who scorers 0.6 per game and misses 1 chance per game. He just gets into more goalscoring positions than he can chew.

That he's managed to turn his goal situation around is good news for us this season. However, IMO, it would be foolish to go into next season counting on him as our primary striker. He has clearly regressed in a lot of areas, and we cannot have someone who's only contribution is the goals he may or may not score, because he's getting older and there's a good chance he has another goal scoring rut. During those periods, you'd want someone who's still contributing to the build up and hold-up play, where I think Suarez is abysmal 90% of the times.

Was the same with Eto’o at times because he was wasteful with sitters at time.
Suarez has never been as clinical as Messi for example. But he is one of the best strikers of the 21st century thus far. It was just that his overall play was beyond poor and he got a lot of shit for that.

But if barca think to replqce suarez with griezman, that would be downgrade, griezmann is maybe better in build-up play, but as a striker and finisher? No

Sort of agree and disagree with you there.

In terms of a striker and finisher, Greizman is actually very good. For a small guy, he has a good header as well. I think he's a lot more clinical than Suarez. As for Greizman being a downgrade to Suarez, I can see this scenario playing out in terms of having an issue with on pitch positioning. Ideally, you'd want a clean number 9 - say a Lewandowski type player to hold fort and do the job. Greizman plays a different role though; I can see him and Messi in the same areas of the pitch often. As to how that would work out is something we have to wait and watch.

This is assuming of course that Greizmann is happening, which nobody really knows now I suppose.

Shit touches and crap passing. But keeps scoring them, so good I guess.

I'd like to think Griezmann has better touch, close control, vision and passing than Suarez, but you can't put a finger on his goal scoring right now. Unlike earlier, when Suarez was wank in all aspects.

Inconsistent as hell, with many mistakes, and typical Suarez, misses an easy one and scores a tough goal minutes after.

Was my main candidate for flop of the match, until that goal. After that he was back to his usual beast form. The way he kicked his marker was disgusting, reminded me of the pre-Barcelona Suarez with all those dirty plays.
