Luis Suárez

How can you say Suarez is smart? He could easily be out of game yesterday if Lahoz was ref, for example. His character is the worst I've seen in football, besides the likes of Diego Costa. If he was playing for Madrid, we would hate him much worse than Ronaldo or Ramos.

On the other side (football), he's scoring goals, but the rest of his game is really poor. If Griezman is coming, we should consider selling him.

3 career red cards with that fighting personality (1 of them being the Ghana one). That's a smart player. It's laughable to compare that to Ramos and his record. To each his own. I'd consider having the greatest striker of the 21st century a good thing. Some others wouldn't (clearly).

PS. Although this forum has developed a reputation as an anti-Suarez hub. As someone with family in Catalunya, I can tell you the haters represent a 0.00000000001% of the fan base. Suarez is insanely loved there.

No, that's just idiotic refs. He kicked twice yesterday two Valencia players for no reason. That's not smart. He has awful personality. I love when he scores, but let's be honest. Ramos is getting red cards because he's stupid and makes silly tackles, he is CB, ofc he's gonna have more red cards.

Ramos is loved in Madrid and if Suarez played for Real he would be one of most hated players in Catalunya. All that proves is that fans are hypocrites really.

To try and pass off some of his behaviour as 'smart' when throw shit at other players who behave in a similar way is just hypocritical.

Players behaving like cunts for Barca or rivals has never bothered me really either way unless out to injure etc.

Oh, they can't even touch Suarez in that regard. He's way beyond their level. Casemiro and Ramos react out of sheer frustration and malevolence. Rarely do they change games. They usually sink their teams because of their idiotic behaviour. Suarez literally turns games around with this type of behaviour. It's very purposeful, and actually clever (he rarely gets sent off). If you compare Suarez's red-card record to Ramos', it becomes very clear who the smart one is of the 2.
Ref not sending Casemiro off , changed the entire tie in Real's favor last season against Bayern . Instead it was Vidal who was send off for casemiro's theatrics .

Selling Suarez because Griezmann is a holy cow ? . Lol Figo was a filthy player we tolerated him and even gave captains arm band . Results matter . Even in his worst form Suarez is miles better than that French choker .

I didn't say that. I said he's scoring goal, but everything else is really poor about his game and that's why we should consider replacing him with younger and right now, better player that Griezman is.

Even at 27 Greizmann isn't a better player . I would take suarez anyday ,if he can score one goal per game and suarez has that winning mentality in big matches which Greizmann lacks .

Put Suarez in Atletico and we'll see how many goals he'll score.

Yea, he's scoring in Barca, but he missed most goal chances than any striker in the league. Consider that too.

If he can score 31 along with sterling and sturridge he can do a perfect job along with Koke , Gamero and Costa . For the chances he missed he has scored some of the stunning goal's this season .

1) Equalizer vs Sociedad
2) winner vs Villarreal

Suarez even in his worst days will run like a mad dog for 90 minutes thriving for goal . Griezmann's lazy ass won't do that dirty work for us

Griezmann is anything but lazy. Suarez presses up front like a mad dog, but I don't think there's a top class forward in Europe who does as much defensive work as Griezmann in Atletico and Simeone's system.

You have not been watching Real Madrid. This year, CR7 will set the all-time Liga record for missed goal chances. I think CR7 shoots more than the entire Barca team, with very few going in this year.

He has missed a ridiculous amount of chances this season but Ronaldo is on similar attempts to Messi not shooting more than whole Barca side.

Not like Griezmann scores quite a lot for France though!

The reason why people keep mentioning him as the successor of Suarez though is that we have been quite spoiled by Messi's success leading our front-line. However, having seen his brilliance playing behind the striker, more in the mid field dictating our play, now we are craving for a player who is more of a mid fielder than a traditional striker (like Messi) and the closest thing to him in that regards is probably Griezmann!! But IMHO, Griezmann is definitely not somebody who would elevate us - we will definitely lose a lot of our scoring ability with him leading our strike force. Maybe, we would have more control in the mid field but it's of no use if we can't score more than the opponent!!

I would not talk about the winning mentality of Griezmaann though - that's blown out of proportion. The guy has the guts to step up and start the penalty shoot-out, even after he had already missed a penalty during normal time in the CL final, no less! He is no sissy, that's for sure
