Slow and steady turning into our very own Cristiano Ronaldo: Doing shit during most games, if we are lucky and he doesn't ruin one attacking-play after another.
Plays at least half of the season totally off, before clicking and being a world-class finisher who bags important goals.

Like Ronaldo it makes you wonder how long he can keep doing it..

Ignorant statement. I suggest you watch some of Madrid's games. Ronaldo is quite decent at build-up, unlike Suarez.

Ronaldo is a day and night-player as well: half the season he was reeeeeally bad. He scored 4 goals this fall.
And yes right now Suarez isn't good, but he is still decisive - you can't deny that - albeit CL is a whole other story they are incomparable there

Ronaldo performs when it matters though Suarez on the other hand has become a liability

When some of us were talking about this earlier in the season we were labelled all sorts of things and when he started started scoring tap-ins his general performance was swept under the rug. Now we’re back to square one but this time he is the focal point of the attack (the tip) and that makes it worse.

He doesn’t deserve to start and that Valverde continues to do so at the expense of playing a winger is a travesty.

Alright: I'm just saying there is similarities, not that they are on the same level, or that Suarez is as much of a clutch player as Ronaldo.
But last Clasico he scored when Ronaldo didn't so it is not too far fetched to say there are some similarities in the type of player they are..

And please keep in mind that I fiercely defends the position that we should buy Griezmann this summer to replace Suarez, starting the transition from next season, and I have done that ever since the fee of his buyout-clause was revealed. I don't want us to rely on him in future seasons, but tbh I would rather buy Griezmann than Ronaldo for years to come.

He's clearly overplayed by Valverde, but he always played most games as did Messi so they are somewhat used to it. But even besides that he is not in a good physical shape, how the hell doesn't the club adress this? Why doesn't he notice this himself?

Even if he isn't able to perform 2013-2015 level ever again he can do better than what he is currently playing and the trainer team should've worked on that months ago because once you are in that phase of the season where you have important games every 3 days it's too late.

Sorry for him, been a great Barca 9, but needs to go if we get Griezmann. Griezmann is younger, and better for what we need.

Whenever a Barca player is underperforming I ask myself a simple question. How would this player perform if he was under another manager?
I for once cannot believe that Suarez or Semedo or Rakitic (last season) would be performing the same under someone like Simeone or Sarri.

Simeone would play Paco. He wants one of his strikers to track back.
