Looks miles better than he was earlier his year.

His ability to set up players for goals has been brilliant in recent times.

But I also notice he's not turning his defenders like he used to or making as many attempts.

His evolution has been strange.

He is playing more like he used to at Liverpool right now. Taking players on with dribbling and creating chances instead of using strength to outmuscle them with his back towards goal. He tried a couple of those today and they did not work.

Last season it seemed at times that he was afraid to run with the ball: that’s how clumsy he was with it. Now he looks like a menace with the ball at his feet again. Had a great dribbling run today when he danced his way through two defenders and shot right at Handanovic.

Are you guys serious? He turned Asamoah and went all in trying to get a solo goal.

If that is not turning a defedner idk what is.

Could've been sent off after he got the yellow in the 62th minute after shouting to the ref "fuck off". The scene was captured by cameras, could've fucked our game had the ref sent him off.

Even if it was he risked Barca playing a man down for half an hour, that is pretty much useless risk to take. I guess the ref didn't heard him, otherwise who woudn't show the yellow card for such an offense?

I'm really annoyed by these over emotional players (usually all sorts of southern/latino types), who can't help but whine and complain instead of taking it like a man and go on. It usually goes like that: commits obvious foul in inconsequential situation --->> shouts/whines at ref until gets a yellow out of nothing --->> has wasted time and energy doing something 100% useless. You know the definition of insanity, don't you? It's part of the mentality in hot tempered countries i guess.

?? pretty sure lots of europeans complain all the time.. remember the famous barcelona crowding the ref and complaining tactic?
pretty sure xavi, puyol, busquets, pique were the main culprits of that..

this forum is so funny sometimes, from one person saying dembele is too african to south americans being whiney lol

its a trait of overly competitive players, and it doesn't fall to just one area of earth

i for one do not mind suarez being overly passionate so long as it doesn't hurt the team, i see many people here point out how annoying it is to see him barking at our players for a pass, i would agree with most but don't because you see how angry he gets when he messes up a play.. it goes both ways not just one

i like passion in our players, if all players acted like iniesta did on the pitch it would be a bit boring (personality wise iniesta was so bland and often overlooked)
i sometimes miss dani alve's personality.. was fun to see him celebrate and seem pretty genuine for example..

Umm.. yes, they are all spaniards/catalonians.

Don't really see this sort of behavior in more nordic parts of Europe. Player usually says a few angry words if discontent and moves on. In Spain or Italy you have angry siesta on the field extending to several minutes regularly with players screeching and throwing all these silly hand gestures around and being as brazen as to even grab refs with their hands. It's so childish as it doesn't really add to competition in no way, just wastes energy and time that could be used to score more goals.
I will never get used to it, but it's an issue of different mentality so it's not like i'm expecting everyone behave by my accord. Just annoyed that it always distracts from the game for too long.

The key is not getting ejected, Suarez did not get ejected. Veterans should realize how far they can push the ref, Suarez does not loose track of that. Showing his emotion is OK by me, as long as he does not go too far. Especially when playing against and Italian team, they even exceed South Americans with all the hand gestures and theatrics. This is supposed to be entertainment, try to enjoy it as part of the show. Not everyone can be or wants to be stone cold robots like so many of the Northern Europeans.

I can't believe how well Suarez is continuing to play even though he is not scoring goals. That is pretty hard to do for strikers, he deserves a lot of credit for not acting depressed while his scoring is down. I thought he was man of the match yesterday.

We need to play Malcom-Messi-Dembele.

EV is a retard.
It can't be worse than Suarez.

Why is he even playing him anymore? :troll:
