Most of our starters are above the age of 29 and we are competing on three fronts right now. Valverde, however, insists on playing said players without much rest and which leads to problems like this. I don't see that changing anytime soon either. Once these guys come back they will keep playing for large amounts of time without much rest.

You have a coach and the players themselves who believe they are invincible that they can play a lot of games without any repercussions whatsoever.

Francesc Aguliar, says the Medical team is seriously worried about his knee like Umtiti's. He's following the same conservative treatment but they don't know if it will be enough or he could possibly have surgery.
