Luis Suárez

Guys, I don't mean to be disrespectful. It's just something I've noticed while following the forum for many years; rarely posting. I find that 90% of the posters here are so cold and utilitarian towards Suarez. It feels like you don't know what you have, and you assume Barcelona's dominance will last forever. And I see people talk about Suarez, as if he's some disposable casual worker, when he may really be the last remnant of Barcelona's final golden era for a long time. (What do you think is going to happen once Messi, Suarez, Alba, Busquets, Piquet retire? See: Manchester Untied, and hell...football history).

Suarez is either your greatest striker ever, or closely behind Samuel Eto'o. Not only that, but he's going to be widely remembered as Messis' greatest partner, and his best friend ever at the club (who was integral in keeping him there). To me, he's top tier legend level. And usually responses to his incredible longevity as an elite player are "cool, fatso put another goal. Should have put 3 though." As a general neutral (I'm partial to Barça), I can't wait for the inevitable fall, and for 90% of this forum to (also inevitably) say in a few years: "man I miss Suarez. There's been nothing like him for the last 10-20 years."

PS. Not saying Barça fans reflect this. Just this forum. I went to Barcelona recently and he's beyond God-tier there. Only 2nd to Messi. They adore him.

He does need to step up in the CL. His record is awful in the competition. Despite a good work ethic, his all round game is not of a standard to adequately justify his poor goal return. Hopefully he can turn it around.

Don’t know whether to laugh or cry when he «runs» with the ball. 99% of forum users could do it better.

We’d seriously play better with most random La Liga strikers instead of Suarez.
Disrespectfull when he is still a top 5 striker in the world.
However Suarez should lay those balls of as quickly as possible and just position to finish.
As long as he can still get 25+ goals a season and there are bary any prospects around you cant knock him so much for being wastefull at times.
