Why would you play Dembouz as a false 9, since he works best on the wings and Messi will play in the middle anyways....

Kudos for his passion and aggressiveness.

It's a shame his body cannot keep up with it.

He is 32 years old. Just like Messi, he should be getting his minutes managed, so that he can be top shape for the big matches. Alas, he plays every minute.

Or his brain. Dropping deep so often after being proved he cannot create or overtake players is simply dumb. He should hustle up front and occupy central backs and play off his instict, that's his forte. Too much time on the ball only leads him to fail.

I wonder how we will deal with that transition when Luis has to step aside for another striker. He and Messi are the best of friends, they boss the team, how will they deal with him - in say, 2 years time - becoming a squad player, getting minutes off the bench?

Gotta keep him.

And Lord knows I've wanted him out before, but the market for strikers is just bad. I'll rather sign a useful backup so we can rest him more and then go for a striker big time in 2020.

Unless they find the perfect fit right now, but I just don't see it. A stationary striker is going to be useless for us.

I read the news about Benzema. He've intentionally lost some weight to keep himself silmmer to prolong his football longevity. He's still fresh and agile on the pitch now.

And we look at Higuain and Suarez. Both are same age as Benzema look really sluggish and clumsy.

Ronaldo hired a team of Sport Scientists that advised him to lose 1.5kg of mass (mostly muscle since he never had any excess fat) every year after he turned 30. He's shed 6kg of muscle since.

That's why when you see him he looks skinny, considering he's always had that long, streamline physique. Unlike Suarez who's always been stocky.

Luis, like many other footballers, has his own personal trainer that he works with, but he never seems to slim down.
